ROMULUS — For the seventh straight year, the Seneca Falls Rotary Club is offering an afternoon of music and fun to help provide a lifetime of hope for others.

In partnership with Xylem, ITT Goulds Pumps, and Goose Watch Winery, the Seneca Falls Rotary Club is hosting its seventh annual “Wine, Water and All That Jazz” Music Festival. The event helps support the Club’s 16 irrigation projects in Malawi, the Malawi Children’s Village and local projects. Local projects include dictionary distribution to every third-grade student in Seneca County, the summer backpack program, distribution of school supplies, funding of scholarships and ongoing donations for the House of Concern, United Way, American Red Cross in the Finger Lakes and many other local organizations.

This year, a fifth band has been added to the five-hour event. Rebecca Colleen and the Chore Lads will be joining Johnny Russo and The East Hill Classic Jazz Quintet, The Infra Red Radiation Orchestra, Andy Stobie and the Greater Finger Lakes Jazz Orchestra, and the Cool Club Sextet. The dance floor will also be back by popular demand so guests can dance and move freely to the beats.

Goose Watch Winery will offer a wide array of wines for sale to complement barbecue items grilled by Rotary Grill Masters. Dewey’s catering will again provide side dishes, and ice cream from Cayuga Creamery will be available for dessert. Additional items from Muranda Farms and Red Jacket Orchards will add to the list of quality regional products presented at the event.

This year’s silent auction will feature framed artwork from Malawi, local get-away weekends as well as a wide variety of items from around the Finger Lakes region. The club has also created new auction items for this year that include, in addition to wines, a large collection of New York beers, distilled spirits and cheeses. This year’s grand package will contain items making it what the club calls “A Taste of the Finger Lakes.”

The cost of admission is $20 and this includes the entire event with all five bands (rain or shine) as well as parking. Tickets can be purchased from Seneca Falls Rotarians, online at and at the gate on the day of the event.
