Drug bust in Geneva nets 18 arrests

GENEVA — Eighteen drug-related arrests were made Friday after a crack cocaine bust was made at a downtown bar.

Geneva police said they executed a search warrant at Al’s Inn on Exchange Street as the culmination of a six-month investigation in conjunction with the Ontario County sheriff’s department, state police, the state Liquor Authority, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. A large amount of crack cocaine, marijuana and money allegedly was confiscated during the bust.

Police said at least one arrest was made outside, near another downtown bar following the search warrant but did not specify exactly how many arrests were made at or near other businesses.

Geneva police believe additional arrests stemming from the investigation will happen in the near future.

Friday’s arrests and charges include:

Donnie M. Woody, of 10 Goodman St., Apt. E52, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

John W. Gray III, no permanent address, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Lawrence T. Carter, of 21 Geneva St., third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Marcus T. Keller, of 11 Clark St., possession of an imitation controlled substance.

Ronald L. Walker, of 32 Elm St., Apt. 2, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Michael S. Brewer-White, of 4139 Routes 5&20, Apt. 2, Canandaigua, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Gregory T. Jackson, of Sheridan Park Apt. 124, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

David L. Delvalle, of 1048 Grant Ave., New York City, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

William Jenkins, of 60 E. North St., third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Jason Mathis, of Folger St., third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Anthony Cannon, of Exchange Street, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Jamie L. Knight, of 2800 Lyons Road, possession of an imitation controlled substance.

William C. Jackson, of 32 Clinton St., arrested on a parole violation.
