Ontario County

CANANDAIGUA — Abigail H. Zenteno, 27, of Canandaigua, was charged Aug. 7 by state police with endangering the welfare of a child.

GENEVA — Briana N. Forest, 28, of Ithaca, was charged Aug. 8 by state police with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

GENEVA — Charles M. Lewis, 37, of Ithaca, was charged Aug. 8 by state police with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

FARMINGTON — Kevin B. Frye, 30, of Rochester, was charged Aug. 8 by sheriff’s investigators with fourth-degree grand larceny.

Frey is accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of fireworks from Barely Legal Fireworks, where he was employed. He was given an appearance ticket to Farmington Town Court.

GENEVA — Hali L. Spinnichia, 24, of North Street, was charged Aug. 5 by Geneva police with second-degree burglary.

GENEVA — Angel L. Diaz-Deleon, 32, of Oak Street, was charged Aug. 7 by Geneva police with second-degree reckless endangerment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child.

GENEVA — Carolyn A. Archibald, 50, of Pulteney Street, was charged Aug. 9 by Geneva police with second-degree criminal contempt.

GENEVA — Jasmine L. O’Connell, 27, of Routes 5&20, Waterloo, was charged Aug. 10 by Geneva police with fourth-degree grand larceny.

Wayne County

ARCADIA — William G. Quinones-Ubiles, 26, of Arcadia, was charged Aug. 7 by state police with third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

SODUS — Christopher J. Bell, 23, of Montezuma Street, Lyons, was charged Aug. 8 by sheriff’s deputies with third-degree assault and second-degree harassment.

Bell was charged following an investigation into an alleged assault July 11 in Sodus Town Court, when Bell was arraigned following an arrest stemming from “Blow-Off Day” in Sodus Point.

Following the arraignment, Bell is accused of intentionally bumping a court security officer. Deputies said while being taken to the ground, Bell hit the officer with his knee.

Deputies said the officer experienced significant pain and bruising. Bell was arraigned in Sodus Town Court and released on his own recognizance.

Yates County

PENN YAN — Alissa C. Allgood, 37, of Canandaigua, was charged Aug. 9 by Penn Yan police with second-degree identity theft.

Police said Allgood used personal identifying information from a woman in Florida to obtain Direct TV services at a residence on Liberty Street in Penn Yan. She will answer the charge in Penn Yan Village Court.

Penn Yan police were assisted in the investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and Hernando County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

Accident

PHELPS — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday at the intersection of County Road 23 and Lester Road.

Ontario County deputies said Aaron Sprague, 33, of Prattsburgh, failed to stop for a stop sign on Lester Road and his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Caitlin Clinton, 30, of Shortsville. Clinton was taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Sprague was taken by ambulance to Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. He was ticketed for failure to yield right of way.

DWI

The following person was charged with driving while intoxicated:

• Steven A. Kerr, 30, of Ontario, by Wayne County deputies at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 8 in Ontario.

AUO

The following people were charged with aggravated unlicensed operation:

• Amanda L. Burgess, 28, of High Street, Geneva, by Geneva police Aug. 8; charged with third-degree AUO.

Petty Larceny

The following people were charged with petty larceny:

• Ashley M. Drexinger, 26, of Buffalo, by state police Aug. 8 at Waterloo Premium Outlets in Junius.

• Sarah J. Buffett, 37, of Newark, by Wayne County deputies Aug. 8 in Lyons. She is accused of stealing $375 from a Lyons resident.
