Yanni to play at CMAC in June

HOPEWELL — His concerts are legendary, and his live shows have amazed millions on every continent in the world. After an extensive World Tour, Yanni returns to the United States and Canada with an all-new show. Yanni will perform his instrumental hits from the shows that have become famous around the world June 13 at Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center at Finger Lakes Community College, 3355 Marvin Sands Drive.

Fans will witness Yanni and his world-class musicians as they take the stage to perform his greatest instrumental hits made famous in his shows from The Acropolis in Greece, The Taj Mahal in India, The Forbidden City in China and The Royal Albert Hall in England.

The live show will feature some of the music from Yanni’s new album “Truth Of Touch,” the composer’s first album of original studio music in almost a decade.

Yanni will perform and film two shows Dec. 16 and 17 at Castillo San Felipe Del Morro, a recognized UNESCO Heritage Site, in Puerto Rico. The show will air exclusively in the United States on PBS and debut March 3. The CD/DVD combo will be available exclusively through PBS pledge drives and a worldwide release in the spring.
