GENEVA — Earlier this season the Pal-Mac girls swimming team defeated three time defending Finger Lakes champion Marcus Whitman.
That left two legue unbeatens: The Red Raiders and Geneva. The two teams met Friday and Pal-Mac kept its perfect league run alive.
Pal-Mac took second and third place in the meet’s final event — the 400 free relay — and pulled out a 95-91 victory over the Panthers.
Ellie Jones earned first place finishes in the 100 breaststroke and 500 freestyle. Depth also played a big role for the Red Raiders (7-1, 5-0).
Emily Taegder-Vrooman won the 100 backstroke and 200 free while Hannah Jacon claimed the 50 and 100 free for Geneva (5-3, 4-1). Alexandra Berg-Pappert (200 Individual medley), Kyondra Williams (1-meter diving) and Katie Spychalski (100 butterfly) also earned victories.
