CANANDAIGUA — Matt Alexander and Ben Myles fired in first period tallies to fuel a 2-1 triumph over Section III’s Oswego in the championship final Saturday.

The Braves won a shootout 2-1 against Webster Schroeder Friday to earn a spot in the finals.

Doyle Kinnear stopped 19 shots in the title game for the Braves (8-5-2).

Friday, the Braves won the shootout 2-0 to earn a spot in the finals. The two teams finished tied 3-3 after regulation.

Myles rifled in the second of his two goals with 37 seconds to go to give Canandaigua a 3-2 lead. Webster Schroeder’s scored with 11 seconds remaining.
