PHELPS — The fifth-seeded Geneva girls tennis team earned a trip to the Section V Class B semifinals Wednesday with a 3-2 win over No. 4 Midlakes.
The doubles tandems of Emily Tyman and Anne Choi, along with Stephanie Corcino and Jennie Suchewski provided a sweep for the Panthers.
Corcino and Suchewski took a three-set win, including a 9-7 tiebreaker. Aidan Camera added a singles win.
Kelli Leitner and Leah Pollot secured the two points for the Eagles.
