PALMYRA — The North Rose-Wolcott High School boys basketball team saw its season end Tuesday in a 61-52 loss to second-seeded Leadership Academy in a Section V Class B2 semifinal game at Palmyra-Macedon High School.

The third-seeded Cougars trailed 49-40 heading into the fourth quarter. They reduced the margin to three with 1:30 left.

Jake Stevenson enjoyed a big night for NR-W (14-6) with 24 points and eight rebounds. Chris Dean racked up 13 rebounds.
