SENECA FALLS — The 4th annual Canal Fest begins tonight and continues over the weekend along the Cayuga-Seneca Canal downtown.

Sponsored by the Seneca Falls Business Association, the event features booths on both sides of the canal by restaurants, wineries, breweries, food vendors, crafters and organizations.

There also will be amusement rides, a midway, a dunking booth to support local causes, 50/50 raffles, a duck race in the canal, a fireworks show and live music by Ruby Shooz and Nik and the Nice Guys.

The dunking booth will benefit the Seneca Museum of Waterways and Industry and the SFBA. It will be open from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for $2 a ball or 3 balls for $5. Among those volunteering to be dunked are Brian Sparrow, Lenny DeRenzo, Aaron Passalacqua, Sheila Giovannini and Judy Pipher.
