WATERLOO — A local law introduced by the Seneca County Board of Supervisors Tuesday would give 27 elected and appointed officials 2017 pay raises.

The local law will be subject to a public hearing at 6 p.m. Jan. 10, followed by a vote of the board.

County officials are listed with their 2016 salaries and what’s proposed for 2017, as determined by job evaluations and step increases:

• Sheriff Tim Luce, $66,000 to $68,642.

• Treasurer Nick Sciotti, $82,456 to $85,561.

• Board of Supervisors members (13), $12,500 to $12,750.

• Board of Supervisors chairman, $16,210 to $16,460.

• Board Clerk Margaret Li, $50,106 to $52,049.

• County Manager John Sheppard, $100,000 to $102,000.

• Human Services Commissioner Charles Schillaci, $96,905 to $98,843.

• Highway Superintendent Roy Gates, $73,774 to $76,573.

• County Attorney Frank Fisher, $99,865 to $101,862.

• Election Commissioners Ruth Same and Tiffany Folk, $53,795 to $55,813.

• Real Property Tax Services Director Lisa Kechel, $49,544 to $51,503.

• Public Health Director Vicki Swinehart, $85,309 to $88,468.

• County Historian Walt Gable, $15,027 to $15,328.

• Public Defender Mike Mirras, $76,048 to $77,569.
