WATERLOO — A long-standing tradition in area high school basketball will continue next week.

The Finger Lakes and Wayne County boys’ and girls’ leagues will stage their annual Exceptional Senior All-Star Games at Waterloo High School. Both contests are set for Tuesday, with the girls slated to tip off at 5:45 p.m. and the boys at 7:15 p.m.

Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for high school-aged students and younger children. All proceeds go to Ronald McDonald House and Mercy Flight Central.

The top seniors from the Finger Lakes East, Finger Lakes West and Wayne County get one final chance to lace up their sneakers and showcase their talents in exhibition games that are meant to be fun and light-hearted.

This year, the Wayne County girls’ league has combined forces with the Finger Lakes East and West. In the past, the county and Finger Lakes conducted separate girls’ games.
